As the tag line says, BluEra is “beyond executive search.” From day one, we have always taken a holistic approach to building teams. In addition to building teams through our executive search practice, we actively help our clients improve performance of individuals who already work within the organization and we do this through a series of personality tests, workshops, lectures and competency analytics. Often this work awakens individuals to further develop themselves as individuals, hence the increase in demand for professional executive coaching.

In the team development programs we deliver, we often find that individuals who have been put in significant leadership roles often feel very alone at the top, with no one to exchange ideas with. In fact, new leaders look to ensure they aren’t bringing their own, personal biased viewpoints of the world to the problem at hand. They want to continue to learn, evolve, and develop as a leader. In order to be able to inspire those around them and create meaningful change at work, they are looking for a partner in business – a coach. In support of our clients, BluEra decided create an extended service arm, to further support individual leadership development. We are now excited to be able to offer our clients the opportunity to work with three different and amazing coaches. Each coach brings a unique style and personality to the process and each one is trained in the Enneagram; the psychological system that BluEra uses in its team transformation practice. Feel free to reach out to any of us to be connected with these great individuals.

Tom offers specialized trainings, consulting and coaching for businesses and organizations in the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.

Tom is a certified coach, a master practitioner of NLP and has worked with the Enneagram since 1980. Director of the Changeworks in Bend, Oregon, he has been an adjunct faculty member of Antioch University and the University of California at Berkeley.

Moodys is one of Western Canada’s largest taxation teams. They help their clients maximize after-tax assets, while respecting the Income Tax Act. They focus exclusively on delivering tax solutions that are grounded and practical. They’re a multi-disciplinary practice of accountants and lawyers – the only firm of its kind in Alberta, Canada. They’re innovators at heart, and they always look for fresh ways to navigate through a traditional tax world.

They are seeking a US Compliance Tax Analyst to join their team and continue to build their dynamic US cross-border tax practice. The cross-border team currently focuses on providing tax and estate planning services to US citizens living in Calgary, the province of Alberta, across Canada, and around the world.

As the saying goes “We have come a long way baby!” BluEra has undergone tremendous growth over the last 3 years: from our humble beginnings as a team of 4 in 2008, to our ability to grow during the recession, and finally to our team of 12 today, affiliated with 74 countries through an international database. Looking ahead to 2012, we are grateful to all those who have been part of our growth and look forward to another year of accomplishments.

BluEra is committed to its values; passion, intelligence, excellence, trust, vulnerability, and community. We have hired based on these values. An outcome of this is we now have a fantastic team that is engaged and passionate about the work they do. They are dedicated to continuous professional development and going beyond our clients expectations. This year, we will be paying particular emphasis to intelligence and excellence. Although we already ensure our clients receive amazing customer service, we are dedicated to finding more innovative ways to improve our customer service. This year, our mission is to be operationally excellent.

We are proud of the innovations we have developed over the last year; such as embedded videos in our search profiles, increasing our social media presence, supporting our clients’ growth through team transformation, and always going that one step further than expected. We have stayed true to our boutique offering of flexible and customized solutions, which has been an added value. We look forward to continuing to build evolved and awakened teams through executive search and team transformation.

If you have any ideas on other ways BluEra can stay innovative and ahead of the curve, please add your comments! We look forward to hearing from you.

Watch our video to learn more about BluEra and to meet the whole team. Stay tuned for our open house announcement (yes, with growth comes a move!) and for our BluCircle event in the fall.
